Pilot Medical Exam

To exercise the privileges of a Light Aircraft Pilot License, you must hold a Class 2 or LAPL medical certificate. The pilot medical exam is a routine check conducted by aviation medical examiners. Once you pass the exam, they will issue your medical certificate. We assist you in locating an aeromedical center and scheduling an appointment.

Ground Training

The course includes an Online ground school covering the following subjects:

  • Air Law and ATC procedures
  • Meteorology
  • Navigation
  • Communications
  • Human Performance
  • Operational Procedures
  • Flight Principles
  • Aircraft Performance and Flight Planning
  • Aircraft General Knowledge

Flight Training

During the 30 hours of LAPL flight training, you learn basic aircraft handling, takeoff and landing techniques, solo flying, navigation and cross-country skills, emergency procedures, and radio communication with air traffic control. This training ensures you can safely operate an aircraft under Visual Flight Rules and handle various in-flight situations confidently.

What's the difference between PPL & LAPL?

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) allows you to fly larger aircraft worldwide with more passengers and advanced ratings, requiring more training and a stricter medical certificate. In contrast, the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) is limited to smaller aircraft within Europe, has fewer training hours, lighter medical requirements, and fewer privileges, making it ideal for recreational flying.

You can upgrade from LAPL to PPL anytime, and we can help you with that process.
