Night Rating
What is a Night Rating?
Experience the unique thrill of flying after sunset with our Night VFR course. This rating allows you to fly at night under visual flight rules and is an important step if you’re planning to continue toward an Instrument Rating (IR).
Flying at night offers a whole new perspective. Imagine cruising through calm skies with the world lit up below you. It’s truly unforgettable.
Requirements
- PPL(A) or LAPL(A) licence
- Class 2 or LAPL medical
Night VFR Course Structure
Ground Training
The course includes the required ground instruction covering topics like night operations, visual illusions, human factors, and navigation aids. This gives you the essential knowledge to fly safely and confidently at night.
Flight Training
You will complete at least 5 hours of night flying with one of our experienced instructors. You will practice night take-offs and landings, navigation, and emergency procedures. The goal is to prepare you thoroughly for the challenges of flying after dark.
Prices
1 700 EUR. This includes:
- Online ground school and 1 hour of consultation
- 5 hours of aircraft rental
- Instructor fees
- Landing fees
